West Brom - Carew latest

West Brom are remaining tight lipped over reports that they are about to sign John Carew. However, it seems unlikely that any deal is done as the Baggies will want to consider all of their options before taking the plunge in the transfer market. Carew's injury and goal scoring records will surely be of concern to the management at West Brom. Fulham and Birmingham City are also reported to be in for the Villa frontman with a price tag of £1m being mentioned.

In other news Leeds winger Max Gradel is said to be interesting West Brom and Wigan. However, any deal for the wideman is likely to have to wait until the Summer with the Yorkshire club unwilling to sell while they are in the middle of a promotion battle.
