Ins & Outs at the Baggies

Ins & Outs at the Baggies
The Baggies finally announced today the signings of Peter Odemwingie and Somen Tchoyi.

It seems like an eternity since the news of Tchoyi's 'imminent' signing first hit the newspapers. However, his work permit situation complicated matters with Albion having to launch an appeal to push the deal through. Odemwingie's permit was more straight forward as he has played the requisite number of games for his country, Nigeria and he will go straight into the matchday squad provided his international clearance comes through. Tchoyi will not feature as he is not match fit.

Going through the outdoor is young winger Reuben Reid, as he travels the short distance to near neighbours Walsall for a five month loan spell. However, it is expected that he will leave permanently when the transfer window re-opens in January. We wish you well Reuben.

Really, really pleased with these signings. Be good to get Tiote or Wilson in now.
