West Brom's Chris Wood to Barnsley

West Brom's Chris Wood to Barnsley
Thanks to our Barnsley correspondent for confirming Mark Robins' interest in taking New Zealand international, Chris Wood, on a season long loan. Apparently, young Kiwi, Wood was spotted at Oakwell for Barnsley's game with Huddersfield Town yesterday.

It has long been thought that Wood would be allowed to go on loan and there has been reported interest from Rotherham United. However, a move to a Championship outfit that looks to play good football would probably suit the Baggies more. Any move could depend upon who Albion manage to recruit in the forward positions over the coming weeks.
