'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One In One Out??

Reports are gathering pace that former club captain Jonathan Greening is set to complete a three million pound move to Fulham. Greening, 31, spent last season on loan at Fulham making 23 appearances and appears to have done enough for boss, Roy Hodgson, to sign Greening on a permanently for the Uefa Cup finalists.

With coach Roberto Di Matteo set to cash in on the former Manchester United and Middlesbrough midfielder, Republic of Ireland international Stephen Hunt appears to be high on the Italians wish list. It is thought that a bid of over three million pounds would be needed to secure the Irishman`s signature.

Hunt, who has 22 Republic of Ireland caps, made 27 appearances for relegated Hull last term and scored 6 goals having made a 3.5 million switch to Hull from Reading in the summer of 2009.

Hunt would add undoubted quality to the Baggies midfield however with competition for places already high it would seem a controversial move for Di Matteo to bring in another midfielder following the shock release of Slovakian international Robert Koren.

Good move. Hunt has definitely got a bit of the Willie Johnston in him and is more of a threat than Koren.
