West Brom 3 Leicester 0

Scott Carson 7
Some confident runs to meet oncoming attackers. Defense looked well organised and Carson must take some credit for that.

Steven Reid 7
Full of energy early on and was always willing to make strong and important challenges. Replaced at half-time for Abdoulay Meite 6. because of injury.

Jonas Olsson 5
Came off during the second half with a hamstring twinge. Glanced the post with a header in the first half but never looked completely composed at the back. Gave away a handball in a dangerous position outside the box. Was replaced by Joe Mattock

Gabriel Tamas 6
Got involved with some nonsense late in the game and at one point was rolling around on the ground as if snipered. Defensively one of his better performances but we don't need the gamesmanship.

Marek Cech 9 *VITAL STAR MAN*
Although there were some great performances from the midfielders today, we just felt that Cech's faultless display at the back gave West Brom the stability to surge forward.
Several superb defensive headers as well as skilful clearances when under pressure took the heat out of a lot of the early Leicester pressure.

Youssouf Mulumbu 7.5
Dominated things in front of the defence and let very little past him. Not as flashy as some of the other midfield performances but his tireless work-rate meant everything in a pressure game.

Chris Brunt 8.5
Distributed from wide to set up two of the goals and sprayed inch perfect passes all over the park all day. Especially impressed with his determination to win back the ball high up the field, when in the past he has been guilty of strolling back as an observer. Gave away possession on a few occasions and could have been punished by a better side.

Robert Koren 8.5
Looked lively and dangerous for the full 90 minutes and rounded off a great performance with a couple of well taken goals. Impressive.

Graham Dorrans 5.5
Strangely isolated on the left hand side of the park. Never really got into the game but worked tirelessly nevertheless.

James Morrison 8
Grabbed a stunning goal in the first half and perhaps could have scored more if his team-mates had realised he was on the pitch. Set up Koren's second and played an assured and positive 90 minutes.

Ishmael Miller 5
Fell over an awful lot for a big bloke and gave the ball away too many times in midfield areas. Generally got ruffled right out of the game and got frustrated, which will never work in the Premiership. Was replaced by Roman Bednar 6
