Albion woeful in defeat to Stoke

The wretched run of form that West Brom are in showed no signs of letting up in a hugely disappointing performance away at The Britannia stadium, where Mama Sidibe scored the only goal of the game with six minutes to play, leaving the Baggies rooted to the bottom.

Keeping this short, the game was dreadful with neither side looking as if they were possession of any quality whatsoever. The Potters began to exert their control on the game after a fairly even opening period, and Carson dropped two relatively easy catches that showed signs of jitters following his game under the microscope in Berlin. Thankfully on both of these occasions the ball fell kindly to an Albion defender.

Mustering two shots on goal and playing with a lone frontman for the majority of the match, we never looked like taking three points, but Sidibe ended all hope of even coming away with one with an 84th minute header from a Higginbotham cross. Rubbish.

No player (from either side) would have been awarded more than a 6; we need a result and some points or else our chances of shrugging off the yo-yo tag are hopeless.

Ouch, awful result, those are the games you HAVE to win. Come on Baggies, thought you'd stay up this season.
The Fear
Don't I know it. DREADFUL result. Even though we have not beaten the punters for nearly three decades this one was hard to swallow.

This one was an abberation - we've not played that bad in ANY of our other games. Long way to go yet.
