Keeper to Czech in?

Keeper to Czech in?

GIANT Czech goalkeeper Michal Danek is due back at The Hawthorns next week for a full trial before a decision is made on either a loan deal or full transfer.

Danek, who plays for FC Viktoria Plzen in the Czech first division, has represented his country at every age level from U15-U21. He has been called up to the Czech Republic senior squad but has yet to make his full international debut.

Michal is expected to join in training and play in one or two practice matches before boss Tony Mowbray makes a final decision.

A permanent deal for the keeper is likely to cost in the region of £750,000.

If he signs, the 6ft 5in keeper would team up again Albion`s on-loan striker Roman Bednar.

The two have progressed through the Czech national set up from their boyhood days, playing together at international level through various age groups.
