Davies attracting interest

Curtis Davies is attracting attention with his brilliant displays for the Baggies in previous weeks.

The defender has been getting rave reviews from the media for his performances in recent games including last weeks win over Blackburn at The Hawthorns.

Baggies boss Bryan Robson is not surprised with the speculation surrounding his centre back, when asked about the recent rumours Robson said, 'I know a lot of people looked at him when we brought him in and I expect the top clubs to look at him if he continues playing how he is.

'Curtis Davies is proving he will be a great Premiership player for years to come.

'At 20, he can only get better but we want him to stay here.'

Time will tell if Albion can hang on to their promising defender, fingers crossed we will stay up this season and not give him a reason to leave.

Davies is a future England international, he is a talent that Albion gambled on when no one else would and it has turned out brilliantly for him and the club.

Davies sounds like a young man with his head firmly screwed on his shoulders so hopefully he will stay with Albion as long as we stay up and continue to improve his game with the Baggies.

Did he play against Fulham? If so I think that would quell any interest! ;)
