Canaries Swoop For Hartson

Canaries Swoop For Hartson

Norwich City have completed the loan signing of former Celtic, Arsenal and West Ham United striker John Hartson from Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion.

The Canaries have been struggling upfront since they sold Robert Earnshaw to Derby County this summer and have found goals hard to come by.

Hartson has joined the Carrow Road club initially on loan with a view to this been extended if nessesary.

'I am delighted to sign a player with John's experience,' Caretaker Jim Duffy told the club's official website.

'The situation we are in demands players who know how to operate in the positions they play.

'John fits the bill, is a strong character and has a proven track record at the very highest level.'
