'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Boss Lands Footy Prize

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray has been rewarded with the Championship Manager of the Month award for September after thrilling wins over Queens Park Rangers and Ipswich Town.

Mowbray beat Charlton Athletic manager Alan Pardew and Bristol City boss Gary Johnson to the accolade after succesful victories in their promotion push.

'We've scored plenty of goals and our defence is much tighter,' Mowbray told his club's website.
