Baggies Bag Bednar

Baggies Bag Bednar

West Bromwich Albion have secured the services of Roman Bednar from Scottish Premier League side Hearts of Midlothian on a seasons long loan.

Bednar, 24 spent the previous two seasons with the Tycastle outfit which has seen him score just eleven goals in thirty-three league starts for the SPL club.

The Baggies have secured the services of the Czech Republic striker on a seasons long loan whilst they retain the option of making him a permanent fixture at the Hawthorns at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, regardless of whether his move to the Midlands become permanent the forward seems insistent that he will never play for the Scottish club again; 'Anything can happen, but at Hearts, some things I wanted changed,' he told the Evening News. 'Maybe I will never come back. Maybe that will happen.'
