Albion Complete Hoefkens Deal

Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion have completed the signing of Stoke City defender Carl Hoefkens in a 750,000 transfer deal.

Hoefkins, 28 has become Albion's seventh summer signing and can oporate at right full-back or centre-half, he has signed a two year deal with the option of a third extended year.

Albion boss Tony Mowbray said: 'Carl really impressed me both times he played against us last season.

'I have also watched him play for his country and I believe he is just the type of footballer who will enhance our style of play.

'He is really pleased to be here and is keen to help the club be successful.'
