Iceman On His Way

West Bromwich Albion look set to sell striker Diomansy Kamara to Fulham for £4M with former Watford striker Heidar Helguson coming the other way.

In early June the London club saw a £7,000,000 bid for Albion duo Jason Koumas and Diomansy Kamara rejected, but since then have concentrated solely on the Senegalese internatonal.

Kamara, 26 was the clubs top scorer last season; netting 23 goals as Albion slummed in the Play-Off Final against Derby County (1-0).

Helguson has netted just 14 goals in 63 appearances for the Cottages since he was bought for £1.3M from Watford two years ago.

A Fulham spokesperson said: 'We are in talks with West Brom at the moment but no agreement has been reached.'

Given the goals he has scored for you £4m seems a low valuation!
