Iceman On His Way

West Bromwich Albion look set to sell striker Diomansy Kamara to Fulham for 4M with former Watford striker Heidar Helguson coming the other way.

In early June the London club saw a 7,000,000 bid for Albion duo Jason Koumas and Diomansy Kamara rejected, but since then have concentrated solely on the Senegalese internatonal.

Kamara, 26 was the clubs top scorer last season; netting 23 goals as Albion slummed in the Play-Off Final against Derby County (1-0).

Helguson has netted just 14 goals in 63 appearances for the Cottages since he was bought for 1.3M from Watford two years ago.

A Fulham spokesperson said: 'We are in talks with West Brom at the moment but no agreement has been reached.'

Given the goals he has scored for you 4m seems a low valuation!
