Blades In For Hartson

Sheffield United are preparing a bid to sign former Celtic, Arsenal and West Ham United striker John Hartson from Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion have won the race to sign Craig Beattie from Glasgow Celtic for a fee of 1,000,000, beating the Blades to his signature.

Having failed in there attempt to sign the Scottish Star it is expected that former Albion boss Bryan Robson will raid the Hawthorns for target man John Hartson.

hartson is useful to get you promoted (or nearly promoted) so maybe you should hold on to him for at least another season.
