Robson to add Kozak

Kozak is a 25-year-old midfielder currently plying his trade at shock Champions League qualifiers Artmedia Bratislava.

Albion boss Bryan Robson has been impressed with Kozak and will be looking to complete the deal in time for the visit of Sunderland on Saturday.

In an interview Kozak said, 'I have a really good feeling from my test in West Bromwich, Robson called me away to him after four days and said he wants me in his team.”

Kozak was joined on trial at the Baggies by Burkina Faso captain Badou Kere, but with Albion still attempting to sign Ugo Ehiogu from Middlesbrough Kere’s talks have not been as advanced as Kozak’s.

Baggies boss Bryan Robson has also moved to deny that Albion have received any offers for Welsh striker Rob Earnshaw.

Earnshaw is keen to end his stay at The Hawthorns after making a limited number of appearances for Albion this season. Robson has told Earnshaw that he has to knuckle down and prove to him that he is worthy of a starting place after turning down two transfer requests from Earnie.

Robson said, 'I have had no firm approach about Earnshaw. As far as I am concerned, he is under contract for another couple of years.'

'Until we get an offer which is suitable to the club, he has to get on with his job.'
