Officers are looking into the alleged offence which claims that the 31 year old West Bromwich Albion forward was picked up from Ashby de la Zouch, in Leicestershire and took him to his home in Solihull, near Birmingham/

A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police, responding to a report in The Sun, said they had received a complaint about the behaviour of a man who is alleged to have failed to pay his full taxi fare.
