Pardew Heads For Spain Following Chelsea
West Bromwich Albion head coach has confirmed the players are set for a warm weather training camp in Barcelona on Tuesday.
Following tonight's Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Pardew told wba.co.uk that on Tuesday the players would be heading out to Spain for three days of training at Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque - the training camp of La Liga outfit Espanyol - and the hoped the warm nature of the weather would aide recovery and give us somewhere to quietly work on plans for the FA Cup and the league challenges ahead.
With the UK expected to see more snow, rain and wind this week, he explained.
'It's something I have always done and always found very beneficial. We're looking forward to changing the schedule and getting some freshness into the group for the run-in. The facilities are excellent and there is an opportunity to get in some quality training time with the players. Tottenham went there a few weeks ago and have had a very good run since returning.'
