The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion this Wednesday.

Liverpool host West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday December 13 for the game at Anfield and the match carries an 8pm kick off.

Referee: Paul Tierney
Assistant Refs: Constantine Hatzidakis and Mick McDonough

Match Day referee Tierney has officiated 12 games in 2017/18, showing 37 yellow cards so far.

He took in 32 games in 2016/17, with a return of 110 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count that season was seven yellows and one red in the game between Swindon and Oxford. He also showed seven yellows in the game between Newcastle United and Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day.

He took in 42 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 118 yellow cards and four red cards.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
