Everton Midfielder Back On Pulis' Radar?
It's being reported today that West Bromwich Albion head coach will step up his attempts to attract Everton midfielder Gareth Barry when we return from Spain.
The Daily Mail report that Pulis will go back in for Barry, seeing him as a natural replacement for Darren Ferguson who departed earlier this summer for Stoke City.
With Everton expected to complete the signing of Swansea City's Gylfi Sigurdsson, it'll only add competition for places in their midfield, and they say we think that will be the swinger in convincing Barry to make a move back to the Midlands as we can offer him far more regular game time next season as he hunts down Ryan Giggs' appearance record.
There's no fees suggested by the paper for the 36 year old, but they say we'll offer him a two year deal having revived our interest in him.
They also link us with Leicester City midfielder Matty James and apparently we had scouts at the game watching him as Leicester faced Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday evening.
