Confirmed Premier League Free Agents 2017

Confirmed Premier League Free Agents 2017

With clubs confirming their retained and released lists to the Premier League by the deadline, a few well known names are now free agents.

There are also a number of youngsters available for capture and whilst they'll have some hopes of being taken on by other Premier League sides, chances are most will find homes at Championship level or League One and even maybe League Two as they keep themselves in the professional ladder and look to kick on again at pastures.

All club's retained lists are available by visiting the Premier League.com and whilst the released list is not designed to be exhaustive, it's fair to say some players listed may have received late contract offers or have already secured their futures elsewhere or even still be mulling offers over and I've updated as best I can on that front.

The Premier League released this list yesterday but they themselves point to the fact that it was 100% accurate only as of May 29.

But as a guide to potential free agents as fans cherry pick players they'd like to see turn up at their clubs this summer, it's as good a guide as any.

The information below is correct as of 29 May. A player's status may have changed since that date.
