Robson-Kanu Gets Wales Call (17/3/17)

West Bromwich Albion's Hal Robson-Kanu has been called up by Wales manager Chris Coleman for the coming international break.

The first break of the 2017 side of the campaign comes later this month and sees Wales face of against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on March 24 for their World Cup 2018 qualifier.

Wales currently sit third in Group D, two points behind second placed Serbia and four points behind table leaders Republic of Ireland.

Headline selections from Coleman's choices would be Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn receive his first senior call up and MK Dons defender Joe Walsh is another uncapped player in the 23 man squad.

Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace), Danny Ward (Huddersfield Town/Liverpool), Owain Fon Williams (Inverness CT).

Defenders:
Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), James Chester (Aston Villa), James Collins (West Ham United), Joe Walsh (MK Dons), Chris Gunter (Reading), Jazz Richards (Cardiff City), Neil Taylor (Aston Villa), Ashley Williams (Everton).

Midfielders:
Joe Allen (Stoke City), Dave Edwards (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Andy King (Leicester City), Tom Lawrence (Ipswich Town/Leicester City), Joe Ledley (Crystal Palace), Shaun MacDonald (Wigan Athletic), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal).

Strikers:
