Burkina man on trial
Kere is a 23-year-old defender currently playing in Belgium for Charleroi.
His current club have confirmed that Kere will be travelling to England on Thursday to train with The Baggies for a couple of days.
The African player holds a Belgian passport so there are no worries over a work permit if Albion want to make a move for him.
Charleroi general manager Mogi Bayat told skysports.com. 'Badou will be going to England,'
'We have had interest from France, Germany and some of the top clubs in Belgium, but we have given him this chance to go to England with West Bromwich.
'We know that West Brom have watched him a number of times and we will now have to see how things go.
Charleroi are also open to offers for the player and Bayat told Sky Sports, 'There is no deal in place at all, but we will talk things over with West Brom if they wish to push through a permanent deal in January.'
