Thorpe Refs Stoke Clash

Thorpe Refs Stoke Clash

Unless there is a late change the referee for this weekend`s game with Stoke City is Mike Thorpe of Suffolk.

The last time West Brom met up with Mr Thorpe was in March 2003 when the Baggies went to Crewe and won 2-1. Andy Johnson and Lee Hughes were on the score sheet that afternoon, nobody was booked in the game.

This season Thorpe has been in charge of 14 games and has shown 38 yellow cards and three red.
