Blackburn In For Koumas?

There have been reports today that Blackburn manager Mark Hughes may be interested in taking Jason Koumas from West Bromwich Albion.

It may well be just paper talk but the link seems to have come about after there were doubts over the fitness of Birmingham midfield man David Dunn who they have also been linked to.

Hughes is looking to strengthen his midfield and with him once being in charge of the Wales national side, it was only a matter of time before Koumas was linked, especially with reports knocking about that say West Brom have to sell before buying.

2 million is what is being seen as the offer price, no doubt if an offer was to be made they would try to hang on to the man who is just coming back into his best form again.

A member of Vital Blackburn submitted an article on his "wish list" for players on Sunday morning and he had Koumas on it. The article hasn't been added yet but I could see this happening. Koumas is a decent footballer who is really coming into form so a move maybe wouldn't be a bad thing, at least he stays fit unlike Dunn! I could see this happening the Welsh connection makes this a distinct possibility.
