Soups To Become A Coach

Latest reports suggest that West Brom striker Kevin Campbell may be offered a coaching role next season by Bryan Robson. Robson has already stated in an interview that Campbell is currently taking his coaching badges and that next season he hopes to secure his B license coaching badge.

Robson has praised Campbell for the positive effect that he has on the squad. When questioned about Campbell he said: 'He's a man's man and an influence on other people. And if you're going to have someone influencing others they need to have good character and know what they're doing - Kevin does.'

Robson has noticed the effect that Soups has on the rest of the squad, especially the younger players at the club. Campbell has helped Nathan Ellington settle into the squad this term and taught him a few tricks of the trade which have contributed to Ellington’s current goal haul for the club.

Robson praised Campbell’s attitude whether he is picked to play or not, Robson said: 'He has a terrific attitude around the place, whether he is out of the team altogether or on the bench. His attitude is exactly the same whatever he does and you need characters like that around; people who don't go into their shell and feel sorry for themselves when they're not involved.”
This is an example that I only hope other professional players at the club can follow when they find themselves out of the team.
