Robert Earnshaw scored the goal that left West Brom with nothing to show for their 90 minutes on Saturday then tipped the Baggies to be in with a shout of promotion.
Luckless Albion tried all ways to get a goal on Saturday and could have had several had it not been for the woodwork and good saves from the Norwich keeper.
But on 57 minutes, ex-Albion favourite Earnshaw struck to give the visitors all the points and leave Albion wondering just what they have to do to win a game.
But Earnshaw believes that the Baggies will be there or there about when it comes to the reckoning at the end of the season because he thinks the squad is too good to get nothing.
'There are so many teams that can beat anyone in this league that, no matter what players you've got, you have to perform on the day,' he said.
'Albion have been on fire a lot of the time scoring lots of goals. I lose count of how many times they hit the bar or the post. We were a bit lucky in that sense so it was a great win.
"But because they were in the Premiership last year people come here and want to beat them.
'Every time you play someone who has been in the Premier League and been relegated it is a great occasion for you. Teams will look forward to coming here and playing against some of the players Albion have got.
'I would still expect them to be challenging at the end of the season because they've got so much quality that you have to fancy them.'
