Earnie Hopes For Good Reception

Norwich striker Rob Earnshaw is hoping for a good reception from the West Brom fans tomorrow when he returns to the Hawthorns for the first time since leaving the club.

The 25 year old finished as the Baggies top scorer playing a major role in helping the club stay in the Premiership
But Earnshaw ended up moving to Norwich for £3.5 million after a fall out with then manager Bryan Robson.

Earnshaw whacked in eleven goals in 18 for the Baggies in the season they stayed up, but followed that up with just four starts the following season.

Earnshaw told BBC Sport: 'I enjoyed my time there at West Brom - the times I did play it was brilliant.

'But the first summer when we stayed up I knew I was going to move on. It took until January to happen so I had to wait a few months.

'It was a crazy time. He [Robson] was good football-wise when I did play but other than that it was frustrating.

'However, it's all gone now and I'm looking forward to going back.'
