Kamara Picks Up Award

West Bromwich Albion's Diomansy Kamara has beaten off stiff competition to pick up the Powerade Championship's player of the month for October.

The Senegal international was up against Stoke`s Lee Hendrie, Preston`s Danny Dichio and Luton`s Carlos Edwards.

But Kamara who will be 26 this week was voted number one after his goalscoring exploits since he has returned to the side. He scored six in five games, bringing his total for the season to eight.
