Sacramento 1-3 Albion

Sacramento 1-3 Albion

West Bromwich Albion won the second of our two Stateside friendlies against Sacramento Republic in far more compelling fashion last night.

Three goals from Saido Berahino, Youssouf Mulumbu and Victory Anichebe saw Albion register the comfortable win and build on the one nil victory we took in our first match against them.

Berahino scored after 13 minutes of the game and Mulumbu added his second goal in three games after 30 minutes to double our advantage and Albion didn't really look in any danger from this point on.

Anichebe also grabbed his second goal in three games just after the hour mark, and then with 17 minutes to go, Sacramento grabbed their consolation on the day.

New loan signing Andre Wisdom made his non competitive debut at right back for the club after making the move the other day from Liverpool and goalkeeper Ben Foster got his first run out of pre season - although following his red card in the earlier game, Craig Gardner sat this one out.
