Robson To Move For Kirkland

Robson To Move For Kirkland

Reports in this mornings Mirror claim that Bryan Robson will attempt to sign on loan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland permanently from Liverpool if West Bromwich stay up this season. Kirkland has recently returned from a seven match lay off after picking up bruising to his kidney.

Kirkland told PA Sport that it is clear to him that his future lies away from Anfield: 'It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season because it looks as though my future won't be at Liverpool. I've got to try to give myself as many options as I can at the end of the season and if West Brom are one of them, then great.'

He says it is up to 'the gaffer' whether he makes a move for him but says he enjoys it at the Hawthorns.

'If the clubs can agree a fee I can't see any reason for not stopping if the club wants me. Hopefully they do. But a lot of things can change. I'm here for another six months.'
