Dorrans - It Feels Like We Lost

Midfielder and Man of the Match in the Cardiff game Graham Dorrans has admitted everyone was very down in the dressing room following full time in the three all draw, and there were no two ways about it, the final result felt like a defeat for them all.

Speaking to wba.co.uk following the game, Dorrans probably knows it sounds like a cliche, but he did admit he'd have gladly given up the Man of the Match gong and probably his goal as well if he would've secured us all three points.

'That's probably the hardest Albion game I've had to deal with, everyone in the changing room is very disappointed. It feels like we've lost the game. We had three points in our hands and we gave it away. It's very disappointing.'

For Dorrans having had another under utilised season, he says on a personal level it's great to be back on the pitch and playing again, but whatever joy he gets from that counts for very little when he's feeling like this following a game, because their jobs are to win and get three points, and we were so close to that.

It's one of those where it no doubt feels worse because it wasn't a game we were nicking, or didn't deserve the win from, as we more than deserved it, and even Dorrans says that the showing in the first 45 minutes was probably the best half we have played so far this season and he knows at two nil clear we should be seeing the game out.
