Gera Close To New Deal

Gera Close To New Deal

Zoltan Gera has said he's not worried about his future because the club have already indicated they want him to remain and he's confident a deal will soon be done.

The 34 year old told Nemzeti Sports.

'I'm calm because the club has already indicated that they need my services and want me to stay in Birmingham. The ideal situation would be if I knew the conditions of my contract. I'd like to stay, I've never made any secret of that. I want to thank the team a lot because they have stood by me through my injuries.'

Gera adds that whilst the deal has been discussed, the paperwork hasn't been presented yet but he's confident that that will take place this week.
