Brunt Hoping To Remain injury Free

Chris Brunt has said he's hoping to avoid injury this season as he knows it undermined his last campaign.

Last summer he had to leave our Scandanavia training camp early after picking up a calf problem and that left him out of most of our pre season campaign.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the midfielder explained.

'My aim this year is to come back and get a full pre season under my belt because if you don't it can affect you in the long run over the course of the season. I missed a lot of training in pre season last year and I didn't get to play as many games at the start of the season as I would have liked. Generally last season I had a few niggles and missed games as well.'
