'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Reid Delighted With Contract Extension

Steven Reid has said he's delighted to have signed his new one year deal at Albion, and he's set his sights on earning another extension in the future.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after the deal was signed the 32 year old said he wanted to end his career at the club and he was determined to prove Steve Clarke's faith in him right.

'It's the outcome I wanted. I weighed everything up, my family are happy where they are, I'm happy at the club and I have a great relationship with the football staff and everyone at the club.'

Reid also says that the medical staff have been brilliant with him and although he had options elsewhere and he did speak to other managers he always hoped to remain at the club.
