Fortune Apologises For Red

Marc-Antoine Fortune has apologised to supporters following his sending off against Southampton.

Speaking to wba.co.uk he said.

'First of all I want to apologise because I don't usualy do that. We won 3-0 and I scored and got an assist so it was a good game for me and for West Brom, but afterwards I know everyone was talking about my red card.'

Fortune says it was just a heat of the moment thing after he saw what happened to Shane Long and he let his anger get the better of him, pointing out he did only push him, it wasn't a punch, but as the laws stand anything above the chest is an automatic red - although he says he didn't realise that?
