'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clarke Backs Rosenberg

Steve Clarke has admitted that Markus Rosenberg hasn't had enough pitch time this season, but he says there are enough games left for him to have an impact.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail Clarke explained.

'Markus is very disappointed things haven't worked out for him. He hasn't had enough minutes, some of that is my fault and he can be unhappy with me, but he shouldn't be unhappy with himself.'

Clarke says that he's had a few chats with the 30 year old, who has lost his place in the Swedish team, and he understands that with players performing well on the pitch it is a part of football, but with eight games left Clarke says he hopes Rosenberg will have the chance to get the time to impress and show what he can do in this league.
