Robson Parts Company With WBA!

'Albion Part Company with Bryan Robson by mutual consent. Peace: It has been decided a change is necessary if the club is to achieve it's aims for this season and beyond

At 10.45am this morning the above text message arrived from the Club SMS News system.
After Saturdays diabolical managerial performance Robson has finally paid the price for 12 months of gross underachievement - he simply had to go.

I would like to thank Bryan Robson for his efforts during the Great Escape season. Sadly he was not up to the task.

It is now time to get behind the team and push the club forward - It is over to you Mr. Peace.

Anyone in line to replace him? I hear the Notts Forest manager is pretty good....

Not sure to be honest. My No. 1 is Curbishly but obviously it will be tough to get him. Id like any of Curbishley, Keegan, Mcleish, Michael Appleton and Steve Coterill.

Please take Tony Pulis, the fans would even pay any compo !

Whats all that about then? Had he just run out of steam and both parties need to freshen things up? Or is he lined up for somewhere else... Leeds United anyone?
