'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kiely Lauds Foster's Performance

Goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely has waxed lyrical over Ben Foster's Liverpool performance.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after seeing Ben keep out 14 attempts, including the penalty, Kiely said.

'Foster is a top, top keeper and it's a pleasure to work with him. When he plays like he did on Monday there's no limit to what he is capable of. His contribution to the game was really pleasing and it was nice that his performance counted for something.'

Kiely also talked about his pleasure at seeing where we are in the table, and the points we have on the board following our performances prior to our bit of a dip and he thinks what has been achieved since Steve Clarke came in has been unbelievable, and now he's looking forward to seeing us continue it and grow further.
