Gera No Thoughts Of Retirement

Gera No Thoughts Of Retirement

Zoltan Gera has said he is just focused on returning from injury, and despite some speculation, he hasn't considered retiring.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Gera said he was determined to return strongly, and all the messages of support he has received have proven that that is what he should be thinking.

'When I got injured I thought it was a bad time, partly because of my age, but because I had another operation a year ago. I was down about that but after I left the dressing room I just thought about coming back strongly. I keep positive because I want to play football as long as I can. I could retire happy, but I don't intend to.'

Gera said that whilst he won't rush himself back, he's focused on pre season and he's looking forward to having the opportunity to perform another somersault, which he has set as a target when he returns.
