Ben - That Was The Performance Of My Career

Ben Foster believes his performances between the sticks against Liverpool was the finest performance of his career so far.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after pulling off a string of fine, fine saves in the game, including the obvious Gerrard penalty, Foster was obviously brimming.

'The penalty save probably just made it, and the fact we were playing it around, this probably just tops it. The fact we needed the win so badly was just the icing on the cake. This was a really sweet one.'

Foster went on to say that he doesn't care how he keeps them out during games, he as long as he does, because then it's job done in his book.

Foster was also delighted for himself and the players that we managed to keep a clean sheet finally, and he thinks hopefully the win can re-address the negative media balance surrounding the club at the moment with various others issues.
