WBA Draw A Line Under Odemwingie Saga

Albion have today issued a statement confirming they have fined Peter Odemwingie, that he has apologised fully, and that he will now return to full training.

The full comments can be read by clicking here.

Odemwingie said.

'I understand how my actions have been viewed and want to apologise to the club and our supporters for any distress I caused. I want to reassure everyone at the club and our fans that I will continue to give my all whenever I am selected.'

Peace said.

'This has been an extremely difficult time for the club and it was imperative that we dealt with such a serious matter both fully and correctly. We have made our position clear throughout - both privately to Peter and publicly.'

Peace adds that Odemwingie has apologised privately to him, accepted the punishment and promised to comply with all club regulations going forward.

The statement ends with the club saying it will make no further comment on this matter.
