Odemwingie To Crystal Palace?

It's being reported that Crystal Palace may have been offered the services of Peter Odemwingie following the January shenanigans.

The media are suggesting that a source close to Palace are suggesting they have been offered the player by Albion until the end of the season, with a loan fee involved and a further 2million should Palace be promoted, serving as a permanent fee.

Manager Ian Holloway has been somewhat coy in his response, saying simply the club were contacted asking if they would want Peter. He said to ESPN.

'Someone contacted the chairman, I was asked if I would want him. I said yes. but I don't think he's a realistic target for us personally.'

Does seem a little bit left field and does sound very much like agents at work. It does however add weight to the idea that it's impossible for Peter to return properly with everything that has been said.

It is a marriage that could work despite the "Guesswork" - the 2 clubs would need to agree shared finance during the loan for it to actually happen!

Shame Odemwingie wasn't offered earlier, we could've made Zaha part of the deal and both won!
