No Odemwingie Deal Yet

No Odemwingie Deal Yet

A bit more on the Odemwingie situation...

Speaking to press as he arrived at Loftus Road earlier, Peter said.

'It's fine. West Brom was my home ut this is a new chapter. I love West Brom and always will. I am optimistic and I am happy with the trust Harry Redknapp has in me. I hope West Brom are happy with what they will get and they hope to get players themselves.'

Albion then of course released the already covered statement, and QPR actually confirmed that this was indeed the case. QPR told the Press Association that the 31 year old had turned up 'unannounced' at Loftus Road and had 'been denied access' to the Stadium.

Elsewhere Odemwingie has also been reported as saying he had a chat with Dan Ashworth today and it was agreed he could leave if QPR upped their offer to £3.5million, and this has confused Peter because the bid came in, yet there still seems to be trouble with the deal.

This is going to rumble on until the window closes isn't!
