George's Thorney Issue

George's Thorney Issue

Steve Clarke has admitted the injury sustained by George Thorne against Everton may see the club resort to a little bit of action as the window closes.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke said.

'George has hurt his right knee. It doesn't look good at the moment but we'll take him for a scan. The medical people will do their job and find out the scale of the damage. We're now in a really difficult situation. We had no plans to freshen up things during the window, we wanted to keep the squad we've got, but now we'll have to assess George's injury quickly and review the situation.'
