'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clarke Dismayed By Final Result

Steve Clarke has admitted he was shell shocked at the final whistle today as we threw away a 2 goal lead in the final 10 minutes of the match.

Speaking to wba.co.uk following the 3-2 loss to Reading today, Clarke said.

'At the moment I'm disappointed more than angry. I'm disappointed for my players because for 81 minutes their performance was really good and we should be talking about how good their performance was. Unfortunately the game lasts a little longer than 81 minutes. At the moment we're just analysing and surveying the wreckage of what was a really good performance and turned into a bit of a nightmare for us. I'm not sure what went wrong, I can't be more honest than that.'

Clarke also adds that whilst Jonas Olsson's challenge that led to the penalty was clumsy, he doesn't think it was a caste iron penalty.
