Cup A Serious Aim

Steve Clarke has said he will continue taking the cup seriously and nothing has changed his earlier views.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke explained.

'I said when I came here I would try and do well in the cup competitions and I see nothing to change that. I might have to rest one or two players just because that's the stage of the season we're at. Fingers crossed we get one or two of the injured players back. My aim is to try and have a good cup run and consolidate and build on the first half of the season. We've put ourselves in a good position.'

A good solid top half finish along with a good FA Cup run would be a good start to Clarke's Albion career wouldn't it!
