Foster Hopeful For Norwich Return

Foster Hopeful For Norwich Return

Ben Foster has admitted he is now back in training and he's feeling fine, so he's hopeful to be in contention for the game against Norwich.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Foster explained what the issue actually was.

'In the Southampton game, I couldn't kick with my left foot because every time I kicked the ball there was a nerve getting pressed underneath my hernia, which was quite painful. I've had groin issues recently but they think all of that was connected to the hernia, so hopefully this will solve all that. It was really a double hernia operation. I started training properly yesterday so we will see how the training goes this week and take it from there. I trained fine yesterday, I felt absolutely fine.'

I think it's unlikely Foster will be brought straight back in given how long he's been out, but no doubt Clarke will make the decision closer to the time.
