Cleensheet And Back On Track
Steve Clarke has said he was delighted to see us keep a cleansheet against West Ham, and bring an end to our back to back defeats.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke said the scoreless draw was probably a fair result on balance.
'I thought a draw was probably just about the right result. We didn't quite do enough to get the three points. We tried to win it but nothing really fell for us. We spoke before the game about how it was important for us to defend well and aim for the clean sheet, which we got. That is one positive aspect. It does stop the run of defeats, which is another positive aspect. And it's another point towards the total we're trying to achieve.'
