El Ghanassy To Shine In January

Keith Downing has said that January could be Yassine El Ghanassy's chance to really kick start his Albion career.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Downing said January would be the perfect chance for the 22 year old to start to shine with players departing for the African Cup of Nations.

'Yassine's a young player, coming into a new environment, a different culture, a different way of playing. He's adapting to the English way. It's not just about attacking but about defensive, positional play. He's just learning his game, going through a period of working on what we're telling him to do. In January, when people are away, he will be considered. He is learning during the first half of the season, watching and seeing how it should be done, it's all a learning curve for him.'

Very excited to see how he adapts to the Premier League with the potential he has brought with him. Could well have unearthed another gem if he settles and finds his feet.
