Clarke Looking For Home Boost

Clarke Looking For Home Boost

Steve Clarke has said his looking for home soil to give us the advantage against West Ham and get us back to winning ways.

Speaking to wba.co.uk as Clarke prepares to meet his former club, the head coach said.

'I think maybe for the supporters and people outside the inner circle expectations might have started rising, we've always said there will be good moments in the season and bad moments and we have to treat both the same and just work towards the objective over the course of the whole season. With all the games in December you can quickly get into a good run or quickly into a bad run. We've got into a bad run and the first objective is to stop that. We've got two home games coming up, the first is West Ham and that's the one that gets our full attention, and we look to stop our bad run now.'

Well we all did know a dip would come, and it's not like the performances have been dire so confidence can be taken, and we just have to take our chances and get ourselves on the front foot again in games. Three points would be the perfect bounce, but simply drawing a line under the losses would suffice I think.
